C2 stands for rocker-shaped snowboard between the feet, with camber under the feet tapering to the contact points. The focus is on rocker between your feet for more ease of turning and float. The camber provides good edge grip, stability and pop. More pressure on the tip and tail means more stability, pop and control.
SHAPE
- Twin Shape
A twin shape is built symmetrically from nose to tail, giving the board the same feel in both directions. This makes it ideal for freestyle riding, park laps, side hits and switch take-offs or landings. The balanced outline keeps the ride predictable and playful, while still giving enough control to ride the whole resort with confidence.
CORE
- G Lite 2 Core
A light and speedy core made from FSC certified aspen and paulownia. Aspen gives the board a lively, energetic character, while paulownia keeps the construction light and responsive. Combined with GNU’s strong and poppy glass layup, this core delivers quick response, solid control and a precise feel across the mountain.
- Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Glass
GNU combines tri-axial and bi-axial fiberglass to give the board a strong, poppy and responsive ride. The bi-axial glass keeps the flex smooth and manageable, while the tri-axial glass adds power, precision and edge-to-edge response. Together they create a construction that feels active without becoming nervous.
